How to Astral Travel or Project

Learning how to astral travel is not all that hard, but it will take some practice to get any good at it.

The first point is to examine a Huna concept that life is a dream, and all dreams are just as real as this waking one you spend most of your time in.

Below that concept is another one, that says we dream all the time. Day-dreaming is one of these always-on abilities we mostly ignore or shut out. But it’s always present, and is akin to inspiration and intuition – the more you use it, the better you get at it.

Now for the heavy part of this. There is a Huna principle which says, “There are no limits.”  And in this, it simply means that we are all connected, all the time. And that there is no difference between you and I, even if we are (according to this dream world) “thousands of miles” away from each other.

Of course, it’s convenient in our “modern” day and age to agree with the concept that there is distance and space. We like being individuals, after all – and if we were all one, then we wouldn’t get as much entertainment value out of the world we live in. Life wouldn’t be all that interesting.

But if you explore this concept, you can find that with a little practice you can start finding what is happening at any given “place” on this planet – just by tuning your mind to what is going on “there”.

Now getting to that point will also probably require that you get your own personal peace coming in, which means a great deal of letting go or releasing the various emotions, feelings, and desires you have that keep you separate from others around you. And you’ll have to drop any fear of dying or needing to be a distinct individual.

For once you can simply share the apparent worlds others are creating as your own, then “traveling” or “projecting” to these worlds is simpler than you think.

Now an easy practice drill is to do this with something or someone you love or share great affinity with. A picture you like, or a plant, or even a pet – by sitting still and relaxing the body, releasing all stresses within you and no longer caring even about what thoughts come into your mind, you can then “imagine” the view from that picture or plant or pet.

The point is that you relax completely (not so much that you fall out of your chair or go asleep) and simply get the idea of what being in that other space would look like. As you practice this – and it should be done daily to get good at it – you’ll start getting stronger and stronger impressions of what it looks like from that viewpoint.

Of course, anything you can do to improve your own empathy will strengthen this talent and ability. Of course, you want to be able to share the space with that object, plant, or animal without feeling the need to change anything there. You want to realize the rightness or perfection of that viewpoint just as it is. And that makes it much simpler to achieve the astral travel or projection.

This may change your life radically, giving you more peace and understanding of the world around you.

And that’s a nice by-product, isn’t it?
